I’m a versatile technologist who gets things done. I believe computers are a means to an end so you’ll find no navel-gazing here. Everything must have a purpose and provide some utility or at least spark joy.

In the past I’ve built and maintained a large variety of software and hardware systems for various companies and clients, both in the cloud and on prem. I eat complexity for lunch. Untangling messes and troubleshooting haystacks are my specialty. I am a solvem probler.

My preferred tools are some flavor of linux for the operating system, python and ansible for scripting and configuration management alongside common sense + wisdom for the rest. The best tool for the job is: It Depends.
